Chiaroscuro is nomen omen: „clear” in the aromas, „dark” in the taste, as powerful as the Cultivar from which it was generated, Coratina. Visually, it shows a bright and luminous green combined with yellow shades. The nose is pleasantly engaging with its green fruity hints of chicory, chard, almond, but also spicy, with black pepper, and fruity with the particular jujube among many. When tasted, it is an oil that literally “explodes” in the mouth. As we have already said, Chiaroscuro is its name, and it also represents the character and soul of this oil. Extra virgin olive oil that enters forcefully on the palate with its very strong bitterness and its spiciness that lights up the throat, an indication of the very high content in polyphenols, but which combined with dishes with a very strong flavor that counterbalance it with their sweet tendency it is able to give its best, thanks to its elegant green vegetal notes.
